After several months of evaluation, Valley Freightliner, Inc. (VFI) has selected Procede Software’s Excede DMS for its future Dealer Management System. In evaluating Excede DMS against other DMS alternatives, Excede stood out as the best overall solution. The product is mature, having been available and installed with customers going back to the early 2000’s and is built on modern SQL database architecture. Excede is also widely used by the Freightliner dealership community. The company’s approach to software and integration development stood out as a differentiator and Procede is endorsed by Daimler Trucks of North America as one of the best DMS systems available and a strong DTNA partner.

This decision allows VFI to go forward with its plan to consolidate Valley Freightliner, Pacific Truck Centers, Freedom Truck Centers and Eagle Freightliner on a single DMS system. Visibility to parts, service, truck inventories and activity as well as customer and vendor information across VFI’s network of twelve stores will improve VFI’s overall efficiency and ultimately improve service to VFI’s customers.
