Western Star Northwest hosted an open house and ribbon cutting on April 13th to celebrate the grand opening of the new dealership in Ridgefield, WA. Formerly Pacific Truck Centers Detroit Diesel Distributorship, WSNW continues to provide Detroit and Cummins powertrain products and the location is now a dealership also able to sell, service and provide parts to support medium and heavy duty Western Star trucks.
Local customers were invited to help celebrate the new dealership achievement as well as tour the facility and truck display. The event kicked off with a BBQ lunch and featured vendors including Alliance, Cummins, Detroit, WABCO, Fleetguard, Weller, Allison, and Ridgid.
Western Star guest speakers included President, Kelley Platt, Vice President, Peter Arrigoni, and Vice President of Operations, Paul Erdy. Martin Osborne presented for Daimler and was followed by the Mayor of Ridgefield, Ron Onslow. All speakers were enthusiastic and supportive of the extended brand coverage in the Pacific Northwest with the opening of the Ridgefield, WA WSNW dealership.
Scott Gordon, President of Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. thanked the WSNW employees and leadership for their hard work and dedication throughout the dealership application and conversion process. “The effort and support provided by the Ridgefield team allowed us the opportunity to gather here today,” said Scott Gordon. Doug Wakefield, Vice President of Western Star Sales and Alex Bernasconi, GTC Executive Vice President of sales also contributed proud messages of gratitude for the customers, community, and WSNW employees.
